2. General

The protection of your personal data is important to us – as a medical practice we are additionally bound by medical confidentiality. We process personal data only within the framework of the statutory provisions, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). This policy informs you which data is processed when you visit this website. We explain the processing of data in the course of your treatment separately at the practice.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you access the website, Netlify automatically processes information transmitted by your browser (IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser type, operating system, referring page). This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and to ensure the security of the system. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). Netlify is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; standard contractual clauses are in place in addition. Further information: netlify.com/privacy.

4. No cookies, no analytics tools

This website does not set cookies for analysis or advertising purposes and does not use tracking services. Fonts are loaded locally from our server; no connection is made to Google Fonts or other font providers.

5. Contact form

If you write to us via the contact form, we process the details you enter (name, e-mail address, optional phone number, your message) in order to deal with your enquiry. Technical transmission takes place via Netlify Forms (Netlify, Inc., see section 3); the data is stored there and forwarded to us. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation of a treatment contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Please do not transmit health data via the form. We delete your enquiry once it has been fully dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.

6. Contact by phone or e-mail

If you call us or write an e-mail, we process your details to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Please note that unencrypted e-mails do not offer complete protection against access by third parties. For sensitive matters we recommend contacting us by phone or in person.

7. Google Maps (only with your consent)

On the contact page we offer a map view from Google Maps. The map is only loaded when you click “Load map”. No data is transmitted to Google before that. By clicking you agree that your IP address and, where applicable, further data are transmitted to Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, and to the USA (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). 8. Online appointment booking via Doctolib (only with your consent)

If we offer online appointment booking, it takes place via Doctolib GmbH, Mehringdamm 51, 10961 Berlin. The booking calendar is only loaded after you click; only then is data transmitted to Doctolib. Doctolib processes the data you enter when booking as an independent controller or on our behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR. 9. Your rights

You have the following rights with regard to the personal data concerning you:

  • right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • right to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

10. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, www.datenschutz-berlin.de.

11. Data security

This website uses TLS encryption (https). We take technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, manipulation and unauthorised access.

12. Currency

This privacy policy is dated September 2026. We will adapt it if the legal situation or our website changes. In case of doubt, the German version is authoritative.
